What’s this then?

Studio Walden is the design practice of Vincent Walden, focusing on type design and branding. Established in 2020, this independent studio has produced a range of work throughout the north of England and Scotland, from it’s base in Carlisle, Cumbria.

Though branding has always been a key part of the studio’s practice, since 2024 a shift in direction pushed Vincent to add type design as a key focus of it’s output following a Masters Degree on the subject.

When not running Studio Walden, Vincent is also a Lecturer in Graphic Design and Digital Design on the Brampton Road Arts campus for the University of Cumbria.
